CUSTOM GIA-CERTIFIED JEWELLERY IN LONDON
The Lab-Grown Collection
SKU: SRG6G701R
A cathedral setting built to lift the diamond — and a hidden halo built to reward a second look. The oval centre is raised on gracefully arched shoulders that carry the eye upward, while 18 round pavé diamonds sit concealed beneath the basket, invisible from above and unmistakable from the side.
That arch is not decoration. It gives the stone height and presence, throws light underneath the diamond rather than trapping it, and lets the ring sit flush against a wedding band. From the top it reads as a clean, confident solitaire. Turn her hand and the hidden halo catches the light like a secret only the two of you knew was there.
Made to order at our London, Ontario bench, this ring is designed in CAD, cast, meticulously set and finished in-house by a GIA Graduate Gemologist. Every detail is built specifically for your ring rather than taken from existing stock.
Every lab-grown diamond we set is IGI certified, and we hold a single standard: VVS2 clarity, D–F colour, Excellent cut. No exceptions, no lower grades quietly substituted. It is the tier most stores reserve for their highest-priced pieces, and it is the only tier we work in. Your centre stone can be selected to suit your preferred size, quality, budget and origin. During your complimentary consultation, we will walk you through the options and provide full certification.

SKU: SRG6H86R
Thirty-four diamonds, and not one prong in sight along the band. The round brilliant centre sits above a channel-set shoulder where each accent diamond is held between two walls of gold — flush, protected, and completely snag-free against clothing, hair and everyday life.
Channel setting is the most durable way to put diamonds in a band, which is why it has never gone out of style for people who actually wear their rings. A hidden halo collar beneath the centre adds a final layer of light. Together the accents total 0.30 carats, running the eye along the finger and making the centre stone the destination rather than the whole story.

A ring designed around your diamond, your proportions, and your story — made individually for you.
A refined take on the classic oval engagement ring, designed to make the centre stone the unmistakable focal point. The bold oval lab grown diamond is secured by four sculpted prongs, while a hidden halo of 18 round lab grown diamonds sits beneath the centre, adding an unexpected layer of brilliance that reveals itself from the side.
The sleek, polished band keeps the design elegant and timeless, allowing the oval centre to command attention without unnecessary detailing. From above, the ring is clean and sophisticated; from the side, the hidden halo creates an additional flash of light and detail.

Lab-Grown Diamonds
Three carats. One and a half per ear. This is the size people notice from across a room.
What 1.5 carats actually looks like
Each stone measures approximately [7.15 mm] across — roughly the width of a pencil eraser, and about double the visual footprint of a common 0.50 ct stud. It sits high enough in the four-prong basket to catch light from the side as well as the front, which is why this setting style outperforms a bezel at this weight.
Why these specific grades matter
Excellent cut. The only grade that controls how much light returns to the eye. At three carats, a mediocre cut doesn't look smaller — it looks dull, and dull is far more obvious at this size.
E–F colour. Colourless range. Reads bright white even against yellow gold, which is where a warmer stone would visibly pick up tint.
VS1–VVS2 clarity. Eye-clean, guaranteed. No inclusions visible without magnification, at any viewing distance.
Buy any one of those three low and you'll see it. All three are held high here.
Lab grown, and what that means
Chemically, physically, and optically identical to earth-mined diamond. Same carbon lattice, same 10 on the Mohs scale, same refractive index, same fire. Not a simulant — not moissanite, not CZ. A gemologist needs specialised equipment to tell the difference, because at the material level there isn't one.
What it buys you is size. Three carats of this quality in mined diamond sits in an entirely different price bracket. Lab grown is the reason this pair is wearable rather than aspirational.
Who you're buying from
Daniel A Jewellery is a working bench, not a drop-shipper. We're a full-service jeweller in London, Ontario — repairs, laser welding, casting, custom work, and appraisals, done in-house by a certified gemologist.
Every pair we ship is inspected on our own bench before it's boxed: prongs seated and tightened, stones examined under the scope, posts and backs tested under load. That inspection is the difference between buying from a jeweller and buying from a warehouse.
Add locking backs — genuinely important at this size
Standard friction backs are fine on small studs. At 1.5 ct per ear there's real mass on that post, and friction backs work loose over a day of wear. That's how one earring out of a pair worth thousands ends up on a car floor.
Select locking backs in the options above and we fit them on our bench before shipping. If you're spending this much on the diamonds, don't leave them held on by friction.

Classic four-prong studs, cut and set to do one thing well: throw light.
Each earring holds a round brilliant lab grown diamond graded E–F colour and VS1–VVS2 clarity, with an Excellent cut grade — the grade that governs how much light actually comes back to your eye. Set in a four-prong basket in 14kt white gold, with post and friction backs.
Lab grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to earth-mined diamonds. Same hardness, same refractive index, same sparkle — at a size and quality most people can't reach with mined stones at the same price.

Every pair is checked on our bench before it leaves the store. Prongs tightened, backs tested, stones examined under the scope. If a prong ever loosens, bring them in — we do that work here, not by mail.
Come in and see them. Photos flatten diamonds; your ears don't.
The pair you put in and forget about. One carat total, half a carat per ear, in warm 14kt yellow gold.
Why this is the size that actually gets worn
Each stone measures approximately [5.1 mm] across. Big enough to catch light and read clearly as a diamond from conversational distance — small enough to wear to work, to the gym, to sleep in if you're the type. The pairs people wear every day are almost always in this range. Larger studs tend to live in the box and come out for occasions.
If you're buying one pair of diamond studs to own, this is the one.
These grades are higher than the price suggests
Excellent cut. The grade that controls how much light comes back to your eye. It's the spec most retailers quietly downgrade to hit a price, and it's the one you'd actually notice.
E–F colour. Colourless range. Reads bright white even set in yellow gold, where a warmer stone would visibly pick up tint from the metal.
VS1–VVS2 clarity. Eye-clean. No inclusions visible without magnification, from any normal viewing distance.
Plenty of one-carat studs on the market get there with a Good cut and I-J colour. Compare the grades, not just the carat weight — that's where the difference in how they actually look is hiding.
Lab grown, and what that means
Chemically, physically, and optically identical to earth-mined diamond. Same carbon lattice, same 10 on the Mohs scale, same refractive index, same fire. Not a simulant — not moissanite, not cubic zirconia. Telling them apart takes specialised gemological equipment, because at the material level there's nothing to tell apart.
The difference is what you get for the money. E–F, VS-clarity, Excellent-cut mined stones at this weight cost multiples of this.
A safe first diamond, and a straightforward gift
Yellow gold suits most skin tones, four-prong studs suit every face, and there's no sizing to get wrong. If this is a gift, it's about as low-risk as fine jewellery gets. Arrives boxed and ready to give.
