Most of what we make never sits in a case. Bring in a photo, a sketch, or a single earring you lost the match to, and we’ll build the pair here — design, casting, stone setting and finishing all done in-store on Wharncliffe Road.
How a custom pair comes together
One — Talk it through. Bring photos, an old pair, or just an idea. You get a firm quote before anything starts.
Two — Design. Hand sketch or 3D CAD so you approve the shape, stone size and drop length before we cut metal.
Three — Made at our bench. Cast and hand-finished in 10k, 14k or 18k white, yellow or rose gold, platinum or silver, with the stones set in-store.
Four — Fitted to you. Post length, back style and weight adjusted so they sit right and stay comfortable all day.
Earring Repairs, Done In-Store
A snapped post, a stretched hole, a stone that fell out, or clip-ons you’d rather wear pierced. Your earrings stay in the building — every repair is done at our own bench, not shipped off to a trade shop.

Broken or bent posts replaced, and new butterfly, screw-back or La Pousette backs fitted
Worn prongs re-tipped or rebuilt before a stone goes missing
Loose or lost stones reset, including sourcing a match for the one you lost
Laser welding for repairs close to heat-sensitive stones, so nothing has to come out of the setting
Clip-ons converted to pierced — or pierced converted to clip-on
Hoop hinges, click-tops and lever-back clasps repaired or replaced
Rhodium plating for white gold that has gone warm and yellow

Both. There’s a case of finished earrings in the store — studs, hoops, huggies and drops — and we make custom pairs at our bench for anything we don’t have. Stock moves, so call (519) 660-8383 before you drive out if you’re after something specific.

Yes. Replacing a snapped or bent post is one of the most common repairs we do, and it’s done here in the store rather than sent out. We can also fit new butterfly, screw-back or La Pousette backs if the old ones no longer grip.

You approve the design and the price before we start.

Yes. Appraisals are done in-store by a GIA Graduate Gemologist and come with a written certificate covering the metal, stones, measurements, condition and replacement value — the document your insurer will ask for.

Usually, yes - and we can go the other way too, fitting clips to a pierced pair. Whether it works depends on how the earring is built and where the weight sits, so bring them in and we will tell you what is possible before quoting.

Yes. We work with both natural and lab-grown diamonds and can source loose stones to hit a specific carat weight or budget. Lab-grown is chemically and optically the same as mined diamond, so it usually lets you go larger for the same spend.
